The moment I heard it,
I felt the veil lift.
Asatoma sadgamaya
wasn’t just sung —
it entered me.

Not as music,
but as remembering.
Something ancient,
familiar,
like the warmth I’ve searched for
but always somehow carried.

“Lead me gently,”
I whispered,
From untruth to truth.
Asatoma sadgamaya
From illusion
into clarity.
From clenched shadows
into open air.
From the ache of endings
into the breath of soul-light.

It doesn’t shout.
It holds.
It hums in the marrow
like moonlight on still water —
and with every repetition,
Tamaso ma jyotir gamaya
I begin to glow too.

Silken calm
wraps around my ribs,
and I know:
I am safe
to exhale,
to feel,
to simply be.

No fight.
No effort.
No mask.

Just presence —
on the edge of something sacred.

I don’t need to explain it.
I just know:
Truth is quieter than pain.
Light is slower than noise.
And love,
love is already here.

Mrityor ma amritam gamaya
Lead me from death
to that which never dies.
From fear
to peace.

From breath
into light.
