Some survive and speak their pain,
Their stories flowing like gentle rain.
Some survive in silent grace,
Their struggles hidden,
no trace,
no face.
Some survive and create their art,
Transforming wounds into a healing heart.
Each soul endures in their own way,
A silent night or a vivid day.
Before you envy someone’s life,
Consider the depths of their hidden strife.
They may seem calm,
a tranquil sea,
Yet storms may rage where you cannot see.
Remember the ocean’s vast expanse,
Where calm and chaos join in dance.
A peaceful surface may belie
The tempest wild beneath the sky.
So honor each journey,
each quiet fight,
Each hidden storm,
each silent night.
For everyone,
in their own way,
Survives the night to greet the day.
