A Child’s Last Cry

🎥 Currently In Production, A Child’s Last Cry is based on the hauntingly true-to-life novel The Shadows of Nazareth by Sal R. Perricone. While the story is fiction, the horrors it portrays are not. It exposes the brutal reality of child sex trafficking in the United States – a crisis that has been festering in the shadows for decades. A crisis that continues to claim innocent lives daily.

Filming locations include New Orleans, New York, Washington DC, and Pennsylvania, with a release rumor scheduled for this summer.

But this post isn’t about the production team or promotions.
This is about Sal R. Perricone — the man behind the words.
The soul behind the truth.
The hero behind the heartbreak.

I don’t just own the book—
I was honored to know the man,
and to read him like scripture,
in the silences between his words.

There was no other way to bring truth forward
than to write it as fiction.
Because truth this dark… is dangerous.
And yet he told it anyway.

And let me say this plainly:
Sal is the greatest fighter for children’s lives I have ever had the sacred privilege of knowing.

His wisdom spans every field he’s worked in, but it’s his heart, his pain, his persistence in telling this unspeakable truth that marks him as unforgettable.
He poured blood, sweat, and tears into this story.
Because it had to be told.

Most men cannot comprehend the depth of the mother-child bond.
But Sal… Sal understands it more than most mothers I’ve met.
He carries a burden that no one soul should bear, yet he still stands. Still serves. Still speaks.
Even off the job, he has never stopped protecting the children.

Sal is one of the strongest, most intelligent men I’ve ever had priveledge to know —
and I mean that with every breath of my being.

I honor his work.
I honor his service.
I honor his soul.

I love this man.
Deeply.
Respectfully.
Without twisted interpretations or projections.
This is not flirtation —
this is reverence.

Let this be known:
He will not be forgotten.
Not by me.
Not by any of us who care to listen.
He stands for the thin blue line.
He stands for America.
And he stands — always— for the children.

When this film is released, please don’t just watch it —
Learn from it.
Let it shake your soul.
Let it awaken your humanity.
Let it change you.

Because there is a dark, well-oiled machine devouring our children — and it hides in places of power, prestige, and profit.

If we don’t rise together — left, right, and everything in between —
we will lose more lives.
More children.

Let Sal’s work be the bell that rings.
And let it not fall on deaf ears.

🕊️ All babies are sacred.
They are testaments to the Divine.
We must protect them — fiercely and tenderly.

For our children.
And their children.
And every child after that.

To Sal,
I love you.
I miss you.
And I will never let your work be forgotten.
