‘Veil of the Soul ⚓️”

In the delicate dance of my existence, I have come to understand a profound truth, learned through the harshest of lessons: Showing your emotions to the wrong people is like bleeding next to a shark. I feel that.
This wisdom, etched into my soul, has taught me the necessity of masking my innermost vulnerabilities to preserve my sanctuary of self. To unveil my heart to those who might prey upon its tenderness is to invite chaos where peace should dwell. A huge mistake I have made before and suffered profoundly for.
Thus, I cloak my spirit with grace, a shield woven from resilience,
to guard the sacred space where my healing unfolds.
I yearn to be me, to cradle my feelings in the quiet embrace of privacy, where I may evaluate them with gentle introspection. Through the harmonious frequencies of sound,
the rhythmic flow of my written words, and the soothing vibrations of my own breath, I seek to mend the fractures within. My journey is one of loving myself wholly—embracing my damaged body, the faded beauty dimmed by the assaults upon my life, and the myriad scars that tell my story. In this masked sanctuary, I find the freedom to heal, to rise anew, and to honor the woman I am becoming.
In the quiet dawn of my soul’s awakening, I chose “Medicine” by Daughter to weave its tender threads through the fabric of my writing. This indie gem, with its haunting melody and raw vulnerability, mirrors the sanctuary I seek within myself. As I penned the words of my resilience, masking my emotions to shield my healing heart,
