All Meant to Be Read: Defending the Words That Built America โฅ๏ธ๐ฆ ๐บ๐ธ
If they cannot read the Truth for themselves, they cannot defend it.
When words are altered, the meaning is altered.
When words are hidden, freedom is stolen.
Every word in our founding documents was meant to be read โ not only by scholars, but by every citizen, every child, every future guardian of liberty.
Yet, with the quiet removal of cursive from our classrooms, we have not only severed children from a skill โ we have buried their direct access to history itself.
They didnโt just kill cursive.
They buried a generationโs ability to see, touch, and understand the original hand of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights.
All of it was meant to be read.
All of it was meant to be defended.
And without the ability to read it โ in its own hand โ how will they know if it has been changed?
