In the frozen hush of Antarctic seas,
where light is a whisper,
and pressure a crown,
a wonder blooms—
a living jewel in crimson hues,
the strawberry feather star.
Twenty arms unfurl like painted brushstrokes,
ten to dance upon the ocean floor,
ten to swim with a grace
that rivals the silence of wings.
A fan of life,
woven by time,
born of the deep’s cold breath.
Here, in the uncharted dark,
beauty still astonishes.
Each motion a prayer of survival,
each feathered reach
a testament to secrets the sea
is not yet finished telling.
