Whispers in the Vastness

For creatures small as we, who stand
On fragile earth,
on shifting sand,
The universe a boundless sea—
An endless dark,
a mystery.

Yet in the shadowed depths of night,
We find each other,
hold on tight,
For though the stars may burn and roam,
In love,
we make this vastness home.

The galaxies drift far and free,
In silent,
ancient harmony.
But what would cosmos, stars,
and skies,
Mean without another’s eyes?

So let the universe unfold,
With wonders vast and tales untold.
For love’s our anchor,
bright and true,
In all this endless,
star-bound blue.
