Strength in Gentleness

In a world so harsh and cold,
Where hearts can turn to stone,
A gentle spirit,
pure and bold,
Stands courageously alone.

It takes a heart of iron will,
To wield a tender touch,
For gentleness is strength distilled,
Not frail,
but strong as such.

Resilience wears a quiet face,
In whispers,
not in shouts,
Its power lies in soft embrace,
Of peace that knows no doubts.

So do not think the gentle weak,
Their strength is clothed in grace,
For they possess the power to seek,
And change this heartless place.
