Echoes of Freedom

To silence a voice,
to hush a cry,
Is to dim the truth beneath the sky.
For in each word,
a soul does speak,
And in each ear,
the truth we seek.

When voices fall to shadows’ reign,
We bind the spirit with unseen chain.
Not just the speaker,
but those who hear,
Are robbed of wisdom,
held so dear.

For freedom’s fire must brightly blaze,
In every thought,
in every phrase.
To stifle speech is to deny
The light of truth,
the human eye.

So let the words flow,
unrestrained,
For in their course,
true freedom’s gained.
And let each ear embrace the sound,
Of voices free,
unbound,
profound.
