Endurance: The Quiet Blessing

by, Samantha Syrnich TLC

Being blessed
isn’t always about what grows,
what multiplies,
what shines in gold or plenty.

Sometimes,
it’s about the soul that still breathes
after being crushed by storms unseen.
It’s the trembling hand
that still reaches toward light—
the whisper of faith
when silence mocks the prayer.

You’re blessed
when you didn’t give up,
when the weight didn’t win,
when you found peace
where vengeance called your name.

You’re blessed
when you let go of what broke you,
and still chose love,
still chose hope,
still chose to rise.

That kind of blessing
doesn’t fade—
it lives in the marrow of strength,
the soft ache of survival,
and the quiet,

holy heartbeat
that says,
“I am still here.”
